Kuta Beach Once a isolated little village on the road from Denpasar to Jimbaran,Kuta has now become the tourist Mecca of Bali for the young and adventurous. Accommodation in Kuta ranges from a modest home stay for a few dollars a night, to luxurious five star International hotels. Kuta beach is one of the most famous beaches in Bali, withcoconut trees lining the white sandy beach as far as the eye can see. In the distance lies
Denpasar’s airport, which gives visitors to Bali a bird’s eye view of Kuta beach upon landing. Kuta is one of Bali’s best surfing beaches and a great place to enjoy Bali’s breathaking sunset.

While surfing is part of the Kuta scene, it’s the shopping, nightlife and party vibes that attract thousands of visitors. There’s a huge choice of restaurants and entertainment.

Legian Street, Kuta’s main shopping area is situated directly behind the row of hotels that face the Kuta beach, and is filled with shops of all kinds. You can find many Balinese handicrafts here, from the least expensive
to the most exquisite; or unique stores such as leather shops staffed by young Balinese that will perfectly craft any type of leather item. (They are all extremely talented artists).

After sunset, Kuta Beach comes alive with discotheques, dance clubs, and pubs. Gastronomical demands inspire a multitude of restaurants serving International and local cuisine.and most often accompanied by traditional entertainment.
